About
John A. Lundin, PsyD — Founder, TrustDrive
I’m a clinical psychologist who has spent two decades in the therapy room helping people untangle unconscious patterns of influence. Today, I bring that depth-psychology lens to organizations and product teams that want to ship technology users can trust. I’ve worked with leading researchers in psychoanalytic outcomes and co-developed the Personality Health Index (published in Psychoanalytic Psychology). I’ve also taught and supervised clinicians at Bay Area graduate programs.
My work sits at the intersection of human-factors reviews, EU-AI-Act readiness, and emotionally intelligent design. I hold patents in affective-computing frameworks and maintain an active California license (PSY19824). Think of me as your trust auditor for the people who build your products and the people who use them—so the features you launch feel empowering, not manipulative. My clinical background keeps the work grounded in careful listening, respect for unconscious dynamics, and a commitment to do no harm.
